Lists of a city

In the lists of a city we show places by distance to the city centre, nearest first. At equal distance the name decides.

Lists of a region or a country

Here places whose operators have claimed and confirmed their listing come first. After that we sort by the number of reviews and finally by name.

Paid listings

Places can book a package. These listings are labelled “Ad” and appear before the other listings in the list of their own city: first Premium Plus, then Premium. In the lists for regions and countries the normal order applies. Within a tier the order changes daily so that no paid listing is permanently preferred.

Payment has no influence on reviews, on the opening hours shown or on whether a place is listed in the directory at all.

On the page of an individual place

The section “Nearby” on every place page shows the same places for all places, sorted by distance only. Whether a place has booked a package plays no role. There are no paid ads on place pages, neither for places with nor without a package.

Filters

Filters narrow the list down but do not change the order described.
