For businesses
Terms for businesses
Last updated: 28 September 2026
1. Provider, scope, businesses only
The provider is AWL Zentrum Ltd, Basepoint Business Centre, Unit 34 John de Mierre House, West Sussex RH16 1UA, United Kingdom (Companies House 11973273, VAT number GB323909011), operator of GameZoneFinder (“we”). The contracting party for business packages (Premium, Premium Plus) is the same company under its full name AWL ZENTRUM LIMITED.
These terms apply to operators of places listed on GameZoneFinder (“operators”) who claim or manage their listing or book a paid package. They are addressed exclusively to businesses acting in a commercial or professional capacity. Before each booking the operator confirms that they are acting as a business for their place. Consumers cannot book packages.
The general terms of use of the public directory also apply. These terms can be viewed at any time, including before a contract is concluded, on this page.
2. Free listing
Claiming and maintaining a listing is free. Claims are checked automatically (a confirmation code sent to the email address on file for the place, or a matching website domain) and by hand in cases of doubt. We approve a claim if it is clear that the person may act for the place; otherwise we reject it and give the reason.
We publish changed details (opening hours, phone, website, description) after review with the note “confirmed by the owner”. The identity of the operator can be recognised from the name and address of the place in the listing.
3. Premium and Premium Plus packages
Premium: the listing appears in the list of its city or town and its category before listings without a package, is highlighted, shows a logo, up to 5 photos and a promotional text and contains direct buttons for calling, website and directions. The operator receives a report on views and clicks in the operator area and monthly by email.
Premium Plus: in addition, placement before the Premium listings in the same city list.
No package has any effect in the lists for regions and countries; the normal order applies there.
We owe the presentation described, not a specific number of views, calls or bookings or a position in search engines.
4. Order (ranking) and labelling
In the list of a city we sort by distance to the city centre and, at equal distance, by name. In the lists for regions and countries, places whose operators have confirmed their listing come first; after that the number of reviews decides, then the name. We choose these criteria because players in a city mainly look for proximity, and in larger areas confirmed and frequently reviewed places have the most reliable details.
The ranking can be influenced by payment: listings with a package appear before the others in the list of their city (Premium Plus before Premium). Within a tier the order changes daily. We label paid listings as “Ad”. Reviews, opening hours and inclusion in the directory do not depend on payment. A detailed explanation is on the page “How we rank”.
No package has any effect on the page of an individual place: we show the section “Nearby” in the same way for all places, sorted by distance only, and no paid advertising appears there.
We do not run any places ourselves and do not give preferential treatment to any listing except through packages as described above.
5. Prices and payment
The prices shown at the time of booking apply, plus statutory VAT where applicable. Payment is made in advance for the chosen term (monthly or yearly).
Sale, payment and VAT are handled by Link, a service of Stripe (“Sold through Link”). Link issues the receipts and sends them by email; the subscription can be viewed, changed and cancelled on link.com or via “Manage subscription” in the operator area. The terms of Link shown at checkout also apply.
We may adjust the prices of running packages with effect from the next renewal date. We announce this by email at least 30 days in advance; the operator can cancel until the change takes effect. A promised price guarantee (founder price) takes precedence.
Founder price: anyone who books at the introductory price keeps this price guaranteed for 12 months.
If a payment fails, we may suspend the package services after an unsuccessful reminder; the free listing remains.
6. Term and cancellation by the operator
Packages renew automatically for the chosen term unless cancelled beforehand. The operator can cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current term, in the operator area via “Manage subscription” or by email to hello@gamezonefinder.com. The free listing can be given up at any time without notice; it then remains in the directory as an unconfirmed listing if it contains publicly known details.
When a package ends, the listing is shown without a package again. Amounts already paid for the current term are not refunded pro rata unless we did not provide the service.
7. Restriction, suspension and termination by us
We may remove an operator’s content, restrict its display, suspend packages or end the cooperation if (a) content is unlawful or infringes the rights of third parties, (b) details are obviously false or misleading, (c) the person is not authorised to act for the place, (d) the place is permanently closed, (e) payments are not made despite a reminder or (f) the operator seriously breaches these terms.
We give reasons for a restriction or suspension by email at the latest when it takes effect. We announce a complete termination by email with reasons at least 30 days in advance, unless we are legally or officially obliged to terminate immediately or the operator has repeatedly breached these terms. The operator can clarify the circumstances at any time by email to hello@gamezonefinder.com; if we lift the measure, we restore the previous state without delay.
8. Content, moderation and notices
Operators may only post accurate details about their own place and texts, logos and photos for which they hold the necessary rights. Unlawful, misleading or offensive content, advertising for other places and identifiable persons without their consent are not allowed.
Every piece of content from an operator is checked by a person before publication; we do not use automated decisions for this. If we reject or remove content, the operator receives reasons by email and can object by email to hello@gamezonefinder.com.
Anyone can report content they consider unlawful to us by email to hello@gamezonefinder.com (please with the exact address of the page, reasons, name and email, except for reports of child sexual abuse material). We confirm receipt and inform you of our decision.
The single point of contact for users and authorities under the Digital Services Act is hello@gamezonefinder.com (English, German).
9. Rights of use in content
The rights in texts, logos and photos remain with the operator. For the duration of the listing the operator grants us a simple, free right to show them on GameZoneFinder and in previews (search engines, links shared on social networks) and to adapt them technically for this purpose (size, format). There are currently no further sales channels or partner programmes through which we market the operator’s offers.
The operator indemnifies us against claims by third parties based on content supplied by the operator.
10. Data
In the operator area the operator sees the reviews of their listing and anonymous totals of views and clicks per month. The operator does not receive personal data of visitors; we do not collect such data for this purpose either.
We use the operator’s details and contact data to perform the contract; details are in the privacy policy. After the contract ends, publicly known details remain in the directory; logos, photos and promotional texts uploaded by the operator are removed from the page when the package expires. On request we provide the operator with the details they submitted by email.
11. Reviews
Paid packages have no influence on reviews. We do not remove or change reviews at the operator’s request, but only according to our review rules (for example insults or recognisably fake reviews).
12. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. In the case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract, at most to the fees paid in the current contract year. Otherwise liability is excluded.
Brief outages of the website for maintenance or technical reasons do not constitute a breach of duty as long as availability does not fall below 98% on a monthly average.
13. Changes to these terms
We announce changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect; we do not make retroactive changes. The operator can cancel until the changes take effect; the cancellation takes effect no later than 15 days after receipt of our notice. Shorter periods apply only if we are legally or officially obliged or must avert an immediate danger (for example fraud or malware).
14. Complaints and dispute resolution
The operator sends complaints to hello@gamezonefinder.com; we usually reply within 7 days. As a small enterprise within the meaning of Recommendation 2003/361/EC we are not obliged to set up a formal internal complaint-handling system or to name mediators; we are willing to take part in voluntary mediation in individual cases.
15. Final provisions
The law of England and Wales applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory provisions of Union law, in particular Regulation (EU) 2019/1150 and Regulation (EU) 2022/2065, remain unaffected. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction; we may also sue the operator at their registered office.
Should a provision be invalid, the rest of the contract remains valid.
